Joined her brother, George, and his college buddy, Paul, at a church singles group, and then Paul asked them both to join him at a drive-in movie.

​The next night Paul asked Ann on a date, and that was the start of a 65 year relationship.

Got engaged on Ann’s 19th birthday.
Ann quit her job 2 weeks before the wedding to prepare to be a stay-at-home mom.
